Hydrotherapy is the use of water in any of its three forms: solid, liquid, or vapor, internally or externally, in the treatment of disease or trauma.  A thermal application on the external areas of the body using hot and cold hydrotherapy will aid and assist the body’s natural healing process.

Properties of water that make it an effective medium for hydrotherapy:
